Make the most of the holiday on Easter Monday by enjoying the day at Kaibo’s Cayman Kitefest. Take a Cayman Ferry over for the day and take part in Kaibo’s vision to celebrate Caymanian culture and support the community at the same time.
Easter heralds a time of cool Caribbean breezes, sunshine, and lots of unique cultural traditions. One of the most popular Caribbean Easter traditions is kite flying and their respective competitions.
An age-old custom, the Caribbean tradition of kite flying on our island’s warm, beautiful, peaceful and breezy shores costs little, and best of all, is environmentally friendly. Come out and experience exquisite and extraordinary kites, in all shapes and sizes, which are sure to delight the entire family.
Partake in the amazing views, food and drinks at Kaibo, enjoy live music from Bona Fide, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, who will be performing local favorites all unplugged, and stay to watch the prizes being awarded at 4:00 pm.
Kaibo’s Cayman Kitefest is free to attend and the kite competition entry fee is a $5 donation to Cayman’s ARK charity.
