The Cayman Islands are known worldwide for their incredible white sand beaches, crystal clear water, world-class coral reefs and safe, clean neighbourhoods. Keeping the islands clean is paramount to both locals and tourists alike.
Held in conjunction with Earth Week and aided by The Department of Environmental Health, Earth Day Clean-up is the largest volunteer-driven event in Grand Cayman.
Hundreds of volunteers set out all over Grand Cayman to clean trash of the beaches and streets, while many dive and watersports operators hold undersea reef clean-ups.
All volunteers are then invited to enjoy a delicious brunch where they can learn more about protecting the environment from the National Trust and Plastic Free Cayman.
Register your team by signing-up with the Cayman Island Chamber of Commerce at www.caymanchamber.ky to receive a limited-edition Guy Harvey t-shirt, new reusable tote bags, as well as clean-up supplies.
