Christmas Eve falls on a Tuesday this year which means the Cayman Islands can play live music until the wee hours (live music must end at midnight on Saturdays in the Cayman Islands as Sunday is rest day).
The good news is that both restaurants, Kaibo Beach and Kaibo Upstairs, will be open from 5.30pm until late. Kaibo Beach is offering a tasty beach BBQ menu (save room for the rum cake!).
$29 per adult, $15 per child. Plus 15% gratuities.
If fine dining is more your thing, check out the 6-course tasting menu at Kaibo Upstairs. Dishes include rare roasted wahoo with jalapeno, passionfruit and jicama; whipped goat’s cheese with black truffle and almond biscuit; roast Angus tenderloin and cayman style beef croquette with local pumpkin and seasoning peppers; and Valrhona dark chocolate tart with burnt orange, almond praline and homemade vanilla ice cream.
$130 per person plus 15% gratuities.
