This annual event brings together anglers of all skill levels to compete in one of Cayman’s largest sporting events of the year. The tournament is open to anyone who would like to register and offers prizes ranging from US$500 up to US$100,000 if you catch the heaviest Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo or Dolphin breaking The Cayman Islands All Tackle Record.

This year’s registration and kick-off party will be held at The Margaritaville Beach Resort on Seven Mile Beach from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The boat registration fee is US$500 and includes up to 4 anglers.

The tournament itself begins in George Town with a Bimini start at 7:30 AM and tournament fishing hours are from 6:00 AM (except on May 2nd) to 4:30 PM.

Even if you don’t want to participate in the tournament itself, the weigh in activities are amazing to watch as anglers present their best catch of the day. Weigh station hours are from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Barcadere Marina. Swing by the marina, view the weigh-ins and enjoy a fabulous meal at the George Town Yacht Club.

On Tuesday, May 7th, the Westin will host the Prize Giving Dinner, Awards, Presentation and Auction. The proceeds of this year’s auction of Guy Harvey prints will be donated to the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre.
