1. Spend the Day at Kaibo

Start Mother’s Day with a trip on the Water Taxi, which departs Camana Bay at 12:00 PM and enjoy the beautiful trip across North Sound to Kaibo. Once you arrive you can enjoy a 3- course Mother’s Day Lunch including a glass of Joseph Moellinger, Cremant Rose, Upstairs at Kaibo from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Appetizers include local heirloom tomatoes with smoked yogurt, black love and sourdough, entrée options are succulent featuring baked Mahi-Mahi with mussels, clams, local spinach and champagne sauce and of course dessert with options like banana soufflé with honeycomb ice cream cannot be missed. 2. Learn How To Fly

Is your Mom more of the adventurous type? Then Kitesurfing or Windsurfing lessons may be right up her alley. Only 10 to 15 minutes from Seven Mile Beach, Kitesurf Cayman offers lessons at Barkers Beach. In fact, kitesurfing requires no special skills or strength other than the ability to swim comfortably. The Kitesurf Cayman Kite School is the longest running kite school in Cayman and uses the latest equipment including radio helmets where students can hear clear instructions from your coach. 6. Enjoy Authentic Italian Pizza with a Stunning View

Located on the waterfront in George Town, Le Vele is known for their incredible traditional pizzas. Using fresh tomato sauce, local basil, fresh mozzarella cheese and extra virgin olive oil as their basic ingredients, Le Vele’s pizzas are cooked in their authentic Italian pizza oven. 7. Experience the Wonder of Bioluminescence

Described as a magical experience, Cayman Kayaks is the original tour operator of Bioluminescent tours in Grand Cayman. Take Mom on a slow ten-minute kayak trip on a comfortable double kayak under a blanket of stars from Rum Point to Cayman’s only bio bay. Suitable for all skill levels, the kayaks are comfortable and easy to manoeuvre. If you don’t want to use a kayak, Cayman Kayaks also offers an electric boat tour. Tour times are at 7:15 PM and 9:15 PM, last approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours, and cost $59 per person. 10. Anchor & Den’s Night Market

Instead of just celebrating Mother’s Day on Sunday, start the weekend off with a special Night Market at Anchor & Den on Friday, May 10 from 6:00 PM. With a variety of activities for all-ages, the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands is the country’s leading visual arts museum and education centre, and best of all admission is free! The perfect place to wind down, Mom can explore the current exhibition, Cross Currents, a showcase in the very latest developments in Cayman’s contemporary art scene and then take in the sculpture gardens followed by a healthy snack and beverage at the Art Café.
